Job Details:
Responsibilities Will Include:
independently Develop and Maintain Project Piping Class Sheets.
selection of Piping & Valve Materials, Selection of Valves.
perform Piping Related Calculations (i.e., Wall Thickness, Etc.), Insulation Thickness Calculations and Evaluate the Material Options in Specifying Piping Designs.
independently Plans, Schedules, Conducts and Coordinates Detailed Phases of Engineering Work in the Piping and Valve Area.
perform Conceptual Designs, Studies, Reports and Proposals.
coordinates Work with other Piping and Valve Engineers.
plans, Coordinates or Prepares Piping and Valve Specifications And/or Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, Award Recommendations.
preparation and Administration of Multiple Project Material Requisitions for Piping and Valve Commodities.
reviews and Checks Work of other Piping and Valve Engineers.
manage and Monitor Piping and Valve Data Within the Material Data Application and Material Tracking Application.
perform Detailed Supplier Bid Technical Evaluations.
assists in On the Job Training of Assigned Personnel.
perform Supplier Document Reviews.
implement Process Improvement Work Process Improvement Goals.
participate in the Supplier Continuous Improvement Team Programs.
travel as Required to Job Site, Vendor Facilities, and Client Offices to Resolve Problems and Interpret Drawings and Documents. Plans and Coordinates Independent Work Requiring Judgement and Experience in the Application and Substantial Adaptation of Engineering Techniques.
devises New Approaches to Technical Problems.
provides Technical Direction for Specific Tasks and Assigns Work to Subordinate Senior Engineers, Engineers, Designers, Drafters or Project Sub-groups.
minimum 6-10 Years of Experience in Piping and Valve Area. Experience in Both Power and Og&c is Preferred.
knowledge of Engineering Work Planning and Control Methods. Knowledge of Precedents in the Discipline and of Principles and Practices of Related Disciplines. Knowledge of Related Construction Practices and the Economics Involved.
